This Jaguar is a fun car to drive and own. A true driving experience. This Jag is a S100 Kit with a Ford Mustang 4 cylinder 2.3 Liter OHC engine, automatic transmission and rear differential. The Jag has been maintained it in a garage since it was built 20 years ago and is maintained regularly with synthetic oil changes just about yearly. The Jaguar only has about 4800 original miles.

Of course this is a custom license (SP CONST) and VIN (SW80986PA) number because it is a kit car. The Jag is very dependable and rides very well on the local roads and even the highway. Because of the large wheel wells it rides at about a top speed in the mid 70's. The 12 gallon gas tank is in the back under a steel fire wall. The battery is also at the rear of the vehicle accessible through the passenger compartment. The 2.3 liter engine is front mounted.

The convertible top is easily lowered manually for an absolutely great time jotting around town. There is a storage area behind the seats and under the rear tire. I have a cover for it that will go with it. It is a high end auto cover.

We put a simple AM/FM cassette radio console in the Jaguar for listening to either your tapes or local radio stations. You could easily modify it to put in a higher end digital radio or CD player we just never did. There is also a kill switch located behind the stereo consol to ensure no one takes the car with out asking.

The Jag is very peppy riding around normal city traffic. It has a great out of the gate capability. It just for some reason has a top speed of about 75 mph. It does have a lot of wind resistance with the large fenders. I have no problems riding on the interstate.

One thing to remember is that this is a low profile car and sits very low to the ground. As far as starting from a dead stop the Jaguar is a very impressive vehicle. I can and does most of the time get to the other side of the intersection from a stop light before other cars. The throttle has a reverse spring on it, so you have to push it a little hard to get the car moving.

The Jag has intergraded extra steel pieces to make the car more solid. You can slam the door (I normally don't). You can stand on the fenders. And you can even bounce on the fenders.
